Howdy all, meet Woody!

 

Woody is super handsome, honey faced boy who is probably around 1-2 years old and weighs 70 pounds.

The details:

Woody is described as a "gentle giant", an "angel", and "affectionate". He is friendly with other dogs and enjoys a good sniff at the dog park with occasional bursts of playful energy. He's a calm, sweet boy who plods along wonderfully on a leash. He is, however, very Pyr and gives the best looks when you want him to come back inside, and he doesn't want to. Haha! He can escape a crate, but the foster has since left him out and had no issues with him. He even lives in an apartment with him!

Back story:

Woody was picked up by a good Samaritan who found him filthy roaming around the place of his work. After checking for a chip and searching for an owner, he was taken to the local shelter. However, the local shelter is in crisis mode and he just couldn't leave him there so he set about caring for him. When he was afraid he was getting too attached, he reached out to GPPR for help and agreed to foster until another was found or even better, his fur-ever home!

All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. 

We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6. 

Adoption Fee: $175

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

Transport Fee: $350

Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport.

Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.
