Hi there!  My name is Winona but my foster parents just call me Winnie!  I'm currently living with them in Beaverton, OR while I look for my next forever family.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself  so you can decide if I'm exactly what you're looking for.  My foster parents tell me that I'm a sweetheart.  I can be a bit shy when I first meet you but don't take offense, it's not you it's just me warming up.  Foster mom says she's had other dogs who were shy too.  I LOVE to go on walks and walk great on a leash.  I also LOVE to be a couch potato and hope that you have a soft couch and blanket for me.  While the weather is nice I've been hanging out in the backyard with my foster brother who I like.  I get along well with other dogs. I sleep quietly on my dog pillow at bedtime and hang out in my crate when my foster parents leave, although I don't get myself into trouble if not crated, foster mom says it's beneficial for me to feel safe in a crate.  Here's the important thing to know, I was adopted in 2021 when I was 6 months old and lived with a family that had young kids. Honestly all the hustle, bustle, and noise made me really really nervous.  I was never aggressive, and kind of embarrassed to say that my nervousness would cause me to hide or pee on the floor.  My previous family thought it best to find me a home without young kids so here I am, available for adoption and doing so well in a quieter home.  I might do good with older teenagers, I guess I'd have to meet them first.   So lets arrange a date and see if you love me as much as foster mom and dad do.  

Winona is in Beaverton, OR and can be available within WA-OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $275. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
