Introducing IRIS! Iris is an incredibly sweet 5-month-old Pyr mix! She loves human attention and loves to give attention. She's very friendly, affectionate, and really enjoys giving non-stop kisses. Iris loves to cuddle, give hugs, and rest her snout on your leg every opportunity she gets. She likes to follow you to the bathroom, watch you while you cook, sit on your toes when you're watching TV, and she likes to check in with you every 5 minutes to make sure you know she's around! She's the kindest soul ever. Iris is great on leash, once in a while likes to stop and smell flowers but she doesn't pull! She's fully potty trained and hasn't had a single accident in the house yet. She's also excellent in the crate. She knows how to sit. Iris is social, playful and good with other dogs, not so much with cats because she likes to chase them, but that might change as she gets older. She shows mild food possessiveness over high valuable treats (like a bully stick) but it may just be because she's so young and just needs training on what behavior is acceptable. Iris is currently being fostered in Bothell, WA.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG that is age 1 or older. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) These puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience. 5) Secure and visible fencing required. 6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly. 7) Please do NOT write us and ask if this puppy is available. If it is posted, it is available. However, we may be working other applications that came in before yours. If so, by the time you are approved, the puppy may not be available. Adoption Fee: $400 Transport Fee: $250 All our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and receive a certificate of health prior to transport.   Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959 Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR
